THE
STORY SO FAR
Calcot
Manor has been a hotel since 1984 - little more than the twinkling
of an eye when compared to the estate’s 700 years of history.
But the last 20-odd years have seen Calcot grow from a charming,
family-run farmhouse with rooms and an excellent restaurant, into
one of Britain’s most popular and highly-regarded country
hotels.
Today
Calcot remains as independently owned and run, under the watchful
eye of Richard Ball, as it was when first conceived. Every Cotswold
stone and every beam we have restored, replaced or added has been
carefully considered and sympathetically planned to retain as much
of the original fabric of the farm buildings as possible, as well
as the spirit and style evolved through centuries of local traditions
and crafts.
