The Gumstool is Calcot’s popular, well-established “traditional country pub. Alongside the excellent choice of ales and wines, the food is top-notch gastropub quality - no surprise, as it’s cooked in the same kitchen as its “big sister”, The Conservatory, under Chef-Director Michael Croft’s meticulous eye. For warmer days, there is a pretty sun terrace outside, while darker winter evenings are warmed with cosy log fires and a seductively tasty menu.
