There’s lots going on over the next few months, and here are some dates to put in your diary
Meet-the-Author Lunch with Santa Montefiore
Where has the time flown since Santa Sebag Montefiore wowed her lunch time audience at Calcot back in November 2007 as she chatted about her new book at the time, ‘Sea of Lost Love’? If you loved that talk and want to catch up with her again - or if you missed out then - make sure you have Monday 8 December in your diary! That’s the date Santa will be back at Calcot once more - this time to talk about her latest novel, ‘The Beekeeper’s Daughter.’
Santa’s latest plot traces across 40 years, taking the reader from rural England in 1932 to Massachusetts in 1973. Beekeeper’s daughter, Grace Hamblin is sure of her place and future - that is until her father dies leaving her alone. Alone that is, except for one man who she just can’t shake from her thoughts.
With 14 novels published globally and having sold over two million copies, Santa will chat about her work as a novelist and the inspirations that influence her writing. Married to the historian and writer, Simon Sebag Montefiore, Santa lives with her husband and two children in London and Hampshire.
Following her talk Santa will answer questions 'from the floor' and be availble to sign copies of her book, which will be on sale courtesy of 'Mr. B's Emporium of Reading Delights', based in Bath., based in Bath
